Jorge Alberto Gallegos Díaz  , better known only as Jorge Gallegos, is a famous Mexican singer and actor of series and soap operas who in his long career has excelled in successful television projects such as La negociadora, Quererlo todo, Intimate enemy, The dragon, Without fear of the truth , If they leave us and Divided Love. Jorge Gallegos was born on August 4, 1979 in Mexico City and is currently considered one of the best actors on Mexican television.

Beginnings in the life of Jorge Gallegos

Jorge Alberto Gallegos Díaz, better known in the world of acting as Jorge Gallegos , was born on August 4, 1979. We are aware that his parents are Víctor Manuel Gallegos and Nancy Cristina Díaz. Before formally entering the world of fame, it is our knowledge that at the early age of 12 he began his career as a soccer player, playing first for the team known as Necaxa and later for Atlante. where he would play in the period of time between 2000 and 2005.

However, it was in 2007 when, after a severe quadriceps and knee injury, Jorge Gallegos  was forced to put aside his career as a soccer player, and that is when he decided to dedicate himself to acting thanks to the invitation of René Cardona, Later, in 2008, Jorge Gallegos  entered the Televisa Center for Artistic Education (CEA) after having met Eugenio Cobo, director of the Center. This is how it is considered that the beginnings of his artistic career are in the year 2009, when he acted in the production known as Hasta que tu muerte nos parte.

In mid-2021,  Si nos dejan would be released, a Mexican telenovela produced by W Studios together with Lemon Studios for Televisa in 2021, being a new version of the novel created by TV Azteca in 1997 and titled “Mirada de mujer” . The telenovela “Si nos dejan” starred Mayrín Villanueva , Marcus Ornellas and Alexis Ayala , along with Scarlet Gruberas the main antagonist and told the story of a woman entering her old age who realizes that she is not as happy as she thought despite having money and an apparently happy family, as if that were not enough, she meets a man younger than her with whom he begins a relationship that will unleash a great confrontation with his entire family. In the novel ” If they leave us ” the actor Jorge Gallegos played Moisés. 

Regarding his character named Moisés in the soap opera “Si nos dejan”, Jorge Gallegos  commented that he was very happy to return to televisa after being away from melodramas for a while and that he was also happy to share with the entire cast and incidentally ensure that His song “Because I love you” had been a complete success and he was already planning a collaboration with José Luis Roma.

In the telenovela ” If they leave us ” Jorge Gallegos  also shared credits with other great stars and acting figures such as; Susana Dosamantes , Gaby Spanic , Isabel Burr , Carlos Said , Isidora Vives , Álex Perea , Lore Graniewicz , Orlando Santana , Mónica Dionne , Gabriela Carrillo , Ramiro Tomasini , Ara Saldivar, among others; and although it achieved good audience levels, they were not compared to the phenomenon that was “Mirada de Mujer” which even had a sequel, although without much success. 

Another of the telenovelas in which Jorge Gallegos appeared  as part of the star cast was in the melodrama titled “Amor Dividido” , released at the beginning of 2022 and produced by Angelli Nesma Medina for Televisa. For this telenovela “Amor Dividido” Jorge Gallegos  played Osmar  and at the time he commented how happy he was doing this role because it was a type of character that he had never done before, “Without a doubt I love my character in Amor Dividido because it has made me experiencing a new facet in me, being without a doubt a great acting challenge that I really wanted to be able to live and to be able to play this character is something quite enriching for my career”.
