At the end of August 2020 and after several weeks of delay due to the coronavirus pandemic, the telenovela La mexicana y el güero premiered with touches of romantic comedy produced by Nicandro Díaz González for Televisa. The telenovela starred Itatí Cantoral and Juan Soler , along with Luis Roberto Guzmán , Laura Vignatti and Tania Lizardo in the antagonistic roles. In the telenovela “La mexicana y el güero” the story of a cunning con artist ends up madly in love with the man she intends to defraud. Other actors and actresses who also participated in the telenovela were Gala Montes ,Julio Camejo , Nora Salinas  and Irán Castillo , among others, of course  Horacio Pancheri appeared in the telenovela La mexicana y el güero with the character of Rodrigo Avellaneda.
