In an interview , Hiram Hurtado confessed that since he was in elementary school, everything that had to do with the media was paying attention to him. “Since I was in elementary school, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher, but my mother told me no, that I studied a profession and then I already gave classes in my profession, but as a second option I wanted to study communication sciences so from a very young age I already knew that I needed to dedicate myself to the media”. His first approach as a child on television was when they took him to host a program called “From Little Ones” on the Inversión channel that no longer exists.

Grupo Imagen began to take into account various communicators and journalists to replace the place that Nacho Lozano had left in the channel’s morning news, considering 4 proposals to host the program: Poncho Vera, Manolo Carmona, Pamela Cerdeira and Hiram Hurtado , the latter two being who would finally stay in charge of the “De Pisa y Corre” program .

The journalist Pamela Cerdeira  was the first selected to occupy the place as head of the “De Pisa y Corre” program , however, it was also announced that she would not be alone, but that another conductor would accompany her and it was Hiram Hurtado  , a news conductor who would collaborate with the journalist in said program and both would try to preserve the success that said newscast had achieved with Nacho Lozano and even take it to a better position with better audience levels.

Pamela Cerdeira   and Hiram Hurtado  began broadcasting the program in February 2021 and opted for freshness and intelligence when presenting the news, offering the audience a sensitive and renewed perspective without neglecting the importance and great weight of informing society impartially.
