Beginnings in the life of Carlos Said

Carlos Said from a very young age knew that he wanted to dedicate himself to the entertainment world and above all to music and acting. Then came a starring role for Carlos Said in the soap opera Like, the legend or simply Like, a Mexican youth melodrama produced by Pedro Damián for Televisa that premiered at Las Estrellas on September 10, 2018.

Like was a novel that had the star participation of Ale Müller , Roberta Damián, Macarena García Romero, Anna Iriyama, Carlos Said, Mauricio Abad, Santiago Achaga and Víctor Varona. The story revolved around a group of young people who attend a very prestigious school but who experience a series of conflicts that develop throughout the story throughout all the chapters. In Like the legend, Carlos Said played León Rubio.

Televisa had very high expectations for Like la Leyenda because with this telenovela they not only wanted to attract a much younger audience but also wanted to make a new boy band like RBD was a few years ago and which ended up becoming one of the most successful groups of all time worldwide, but for Like its story was totally different since it was considered one of Televisa’s biggest failures in its premiere year.

When the news spread that the soap opera ” Like ” would not have a second season due to the low audience levels achieved, the actors Ale Müller and Carlos Said announced that they would not continue in the band that was created with the same name and that they intended to forge a career in music. Carlos Said commented on his departure from the group: “I am already recording a new series, it is very cool, I am happy. I am no longer in the band (Like) because of things and decisions that one has to make” , pointed out the young actor, thus ending his participation in Like, which, more than a success, had been a slip in his career.

After passing through Like, Carlos Said in January 2019 decided to venture into music and released his first single “Si tú te vas” and later “ Ven baila conmigo ”. “It’s a little more Latin pop to throw the little drum, the percussion and flavor, so that people listen to it, love it and want to dance with me,” said Carlos Said about his foray into the world of music with a Latin pop proposal. and counting on great producers like César Robles who had made great hits for Carlos Rivera . “I already fulfilled my dream of being an actor by participating with Angelli Nesma and the lead with Pedro Damián and moving on”,He said proudly at the time, who was confident that his step into music would be a success, but it was not.

In his first attempt in music, Carlos Said was a resounding commercial failure and his songs did not click with the people and in a short time both he and his audience forgot the songs that he had tried to place on the radio. Even with his failed attempt to succeed in music, Carlos Said was one of the special guests of Los Socios del Ritmo, who offered a show at the Teatro Metropólitan, where the actor performed the song “Dímelo” alongside the famous group.At the end of February 2020, the melodrama Como tú no hay dos , a Televisa production, starring Adrián Uribe , Claudia Martín and Estefanía Hinojosa , premiered . In this melodrama Carlos Said had an outstanding role with which he returned to television as an actor after being absent for a few months from the middle of the show after his unsuccessful step into music.

The story produced by Carlos Bardasano narrated the story of ‘Toño’ ( Adrián Uribe ), who after an accident discovers that he has a twin brother named ‘Ricardo’, a high-class man who has to make important decisions for a company. This telenovela also featured performances by great stars of Mexican television such as Aylín Mujica , Ferdinando Valencia, Sergio Reynoso, Mayra Rojas, Azela Robinson and Alejandro Ávila, María de la Fuente, Lorena Graniewicz, Gerardo Murguía and more.

In mid-2021,  Si nos dejan is a Mexican telenovela produced by W Studios together with Lemon Studios for Televisa in 2021, being a new version of the novel created by TV Azteca in 1997 and titled “Mirada de mujer” . The telenovela “Si nos dejan” starred Mayrín Villanueva , Marcus Ornellas and Alexis Ayala , along with Scarlet Gruberas the main antagonist and told the story of a woman entering her old age who realizes that she is not as happy as she thought despite having money and an apparently happy family, as if that were not enough, she meets a man younger than her with whom he begins a relationship that will unleash a great confrontation with his entire family. In the novel ” If they leave us ” the actor Carlos Said played Gonzalo Carranza Montiel.

In the telenovela ” If they leave us ” Carlos Said  also shared credits with other great stars and acting figures such as; Susana Dosamantes , Gaby Spanic , Isabel Burr , Carlos Said , Isidora Vives , Álex Perea , Lore Graniewicz , Orlando Santana , Mónica Dionne , Gabriela Carrillo , Ramiro Tomasini , Ara Saldivar, among others; and although it achieved good audience levels, they were not compared to the phenomenon that was “Mirada de Mujer” which even had a sequel, although without much success.
