Ana Beatriz Martínez Solórzano, was born on May 14, 1946 in Mexico City, in the artistic world she is better known by the name of Ana Martín.  From an early age she was attracted to the world of art, since her father was the famous Mexican comedian named Jesús Martínez nicknamed “Palillo” and her mother was the Nicaraguan Dinah Solórzano, she also has a brother named Jorge Hidalgo Solórzano, and her half-sister it is Alejandra Gil Cuervo among many others, most from her father and only one from her mother, since her parents were never married.

Due to the influence of her father, Ana Martín  met several renowned artists in her time, and who have also left a great legacy and an example to follow for young artists who are starting out in the entertainment world, so we can cite, for example: Agustín Lara , Toña La Negra and Pedro Infante, the latter being his godfather at his baptism.

In 1988 Ana Martín was already 40 years old, but although she was no longer a young girl, she decided to audition to play Oyuki, which would be her last leading role . Her talent and dedication was enormous, so it was not hard for the producers to choose her to play the Japanese geisha. To make the role much more believable, she had a teacher originally from Japan, who taught her to make movements, looks, gestures, to speak and even to dance, which was the opposite of what she thought because she believed that everything would be easy. At the end of August 2020 and after several weeks of delay due to the coronavirus pandemic, the telenovela La mexicana y el güero premiered with touches of romantic comedy produced by Nicandro Díaz González for Televisa. The telenovela starred Itatí Cantoral and Juan Soler , along with Luis Roberto Guzmán , Laura Vignatti and Tania Lizardo in the antagonistic roles. In the telenovela “La mexicana y el güero” the story of a cunning con artist ends up madly in love with the man she intends to defraud. Other actors and actresses who also participated in the telenovela were  Ana Martín, Gala Montes , Julio Camejo , Nora Salinas  and Irán Castillo , among others.
