Amairani Romero Gutiérrez was born on April 6, 1970 in Mexico City. She is the daughter of actress Anabel Gutiérrez, whose most recognized role to date and with which everyone identifies her is that of La Doña in the sketch show known as Chespirito. But we must also mention that she is one of the most outstanding figures of the period called the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema.

She made her debut in 1988, when  Amairani appeared on the small screen as part of the cast of the soap opera known as Dulce desafío, where she was in charge of interpreting the character of Rocío. It was at this time in her life that she became pregnant, and due to this situation she decided to retire for a while from acting.

In mid-2021,  Si nos dejan is a Mexican telenovela produced by W Studios together with Lemon Studios for Televisa in 2021, being a new version of the novel created by TV Azteca in 1997 and titled “Mirada de mujer” . The telenovela “Si nos dejan” starred Mayrín Villanueva , Marcus Ornellas and Alexis Ayala , along with Scarlet Gruberas the main antagonist and told the story of a woman entering her old age who realizes that she is not as happy as she thought despite having money and an apparently happy family, as if that were not enough, she meets a man younger than her with whom he begins a relationship that will unleash a great confrontation with his entire family. In the novel ” If they leave us ” the actress Amairani Romero played Maruja.
