Beginnings in the life of Alex Rose

Alexis Javier Guzmán Cotto, better known by the stage name of Alex Rose in the world of musical entertainment, was born on February 11, 1993 in Río Grande, Puerto Rico. Since he was a boy, he showed interest in the art of music, so he began to imitate the songs of other artists, while developing his dancing skills. That was how, when he was 16 years old, he began to compose his own songs, through which he gradually achieved a characteristic musical style.

Although at first music had only represented a hobby for which he felt passion, it was at the age of 21 that Alex Rose  made the decision to drop out of college to dedicate himself entirely to his artistic talent. This is how in the beginning he composed songs for great figures of the urban genre such as Arcángel or Justin Quiles .

According to what he has commented in different interviews, Alex Rose was a close friend who motivated him to start a professional singing career, at a time when Alex already had a wide repertoire to make himself known to the public. This is how we know that the artist Arcángel was the one who helped him to venture into the world of musical entertainment.
