The young Tunisian humorist and actor is the son of Tarak Mekki.
Coming from a wealthy family, in 2001 approached the Trabelsi, his father shared the profits of his business with the former presidential family. Tarak Mekki immigrated to Canada and settled in Montreal. From 2007, the businessman began to express himself on social networks in opposition to the former President of the Tunisian Republic “Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali”.
Since the death of his father in 2012, “Tarak Mekki”, the former Tunisian politician, businessman and revolutionary, Zied Mekki has attracted the attention of the public, Internet users and the media. A natural death or not, questions often arose in relation to the cause of death of his father.
During an interview on El Hiwar Ettounsi with the certified host, “Nawfel El Warteni”, Zied Mekki denied all these rumors and publicly confronted several celebrities in the media world to prove that his family has nothing to hide. and that his father’s death was sudden and quite normal given the hectic pace and stress he experienced shortly before his death.
