Zaza Urushadze
He directed “Tangerinas” and also co-wrote the script. Georgian Zaza Urushadze passed away on December 7, 2019, at the age of 53. According to the Russian information agency Vestnik Kavkaza, he suffered a heart attack.
The son of Ramaz Urushadze, a famous Soviet soccer goalkeeper, Zaza Urushadze was born on October 30, 1965, in Tbilisi, Georgia. Graduated from the directing department of the Shota Rustaveli Theater and from the Georgia State Film University, he debuted as a director in 1989, with Mattvis vints mamam miatova , followed by Ak tendeba , but although they participated in some festivals, they did not have much international repercussion.
Between 2002 and 2004 he served as director of the National Film Center of Georgia.
