King was interested in filming and video making from a very early age. He made his first film at the age of seven, using a home video camera. He bought video equipment at the age of fourteen and started editing and making videos ever since. He enrolled at Biola University where he graduated with a major in Film and Media Arts in 2012. He used to give training seminars and thus started earning his own money to pay for college tuition.

King formed his self-titled YouTube channel in 2013, helping him gain attention on social media through the use of visual effects. He posts various magic tricks on his channel.
