The young celebrity is making headlines again for his upcoming movie We Are Your Friends. In the film, he portrays the character of a young man who aspires to be known as a successful music producer and makes a name for himself in the electronic dance music and nightlife scene. Aside from improving his acting skills, the Zac also changed up his workout routine and nutrition plan for We Are Your Friends. What sacrifices did he make and were they successful? let’s find out
Who suggested the new training?
If E Online’s reports are to be believed, Max Joseph, the film’s director, asked Zac to change his appearance for the film. He did this subtly by handing Zac some photos and telling him about the looks he wanted. The director also recommended stopping lifting weights and focusing more on running regularly.
What was the new workout?
As the Californian looked at the photos, he realized that the director was right as he really didn’t look like the pictures he was shown. Therefore, he followed the director’s advice meticulously. He started running regularly and it was a cool experience for him. The versatile actor also admitted to cutting back on his diet, but didn’t reveal the details of the same.
How did the new training help?
The new workout also helped the Bravo Otto Award winner get into the film. The film has many scenes where he had to walk when the temperature in the valley where he was shooting was 110. Since he had already run a lot, he didn’t feel uncomfortable shooting for the film in these temperatures.
How the new training tired him?
The Paper Boy actor also paid a bit of a price for getting his new look. Towards the end of filming, he had shin splints, his knees ached from regular elimination, and he described the entire experience as overwhelming.
His favorite running scene in the movie
Although the talented actor had to shoot many while filming scenes for the film, he liked the Las Vegas scene the most. In this scene, he and his hot co-star Emily Ratajkowski were walking around Las Vegas in a splinter unit of just 10 people. Filming began as soon as they arrived in Las Vegas and the actor really enjoyed the whole experience.

Some of you might be wondering when he stopped lifting weights, he might have lost all the sexy and rippling muscles he had. Well, you’re not quite right. The fact of the matter is that Efron still deserves some serious admiration, which he showed when promoting his next film.
Daily Mail recently reported that on August 21st he stole the show in California, taking off his leather jacket and showing off his powerful biceps in a white t-shirt that hugged his body perfectly and made many young girls drool. The singer also rocked the show, working behind the DJ booth and making everyone dance to his liking, including Emily. ( Hmmm… we’re guessing his love of music helps him promote the film .)
