A young man identified as Solomon Ukoha from Abia state has gotten a 5-year scholarship for building an electricity station powered by crude oil
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia state met with Solomon on Monday 3rd of may after a video of him showing how the electricity substation works, went viral.
Solomon who powered bulbs with the electricity substation also called people to come and charge their phones with his innovative machine in the video.
He also claimed the spirit of God was the inspiration behind the Invention of the electricity substation.
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State revealed via his official Twitter page that he met with the young man and he is very much impressed by his work and how he created everything using locally sourced materials.
The governor gave Solomon a five-year scholarship to any university of his choice. He also asked Solomon to train other youths in the state.
The Governor said that his interest to make the man hone his skill is in the interest of solving the power challenges in the state and country at large.
