Before Levine started yoga, he practiced intense weightlifting for two hours at the gym. Adam himself claims that lifting weights does more harm than good to your body.

Despite his naturally lean alignment, his physique was chronically very stiff from the lower thighs and hips. And because of that stiffness, the first few days of yoga were nothing short of a struggle for him.

But his constant effort to learn different yoga postures finally paid off. Now he can perform even the most difficult yoga poses that once intimidated him with ease.

Aside from getting relief from the back pain, yoga also gave his body great flexibility and strengthened his muscles. Adam’s commitment to yoga is truly incredible. He’s become so loyal to him that he’s vowed never to go to the gym, weightlift or anything like that again in his life.

Sirsasana
