Wu Yong Ning (born 1991 – died November 8, 2017) was a Chinese Social Media Star and Stuntman from Changsha, China. He was famous for clicking selfies from the rooftops of various buildings. In addition, the 26-year-old Instagram was also popular under the name of daredevil Wu Yongning.
He also named himself as China’s first roofer. Furthermore, Wu’s parents and relatives recently confirmed that his son died while trying to shoot a stunt. On November 30, 2018, it was officially revealed to Yongning’s fans that he died after falling from the 62-story skyscraper.
The social media star was filming a stunt at the Huayuan International Center in Changsha, the capital of central China’s Hunan province. Wu was glued to the side of the skyscraper. However, he lost his grip and fell.
His body was discovered by a window cleaner. In addition, local authorities investigating the case also confirmed that it was an accident. Wu was only 26 years old at the time of his death.
