Afshin Esmaeil Ghaderzadeh is the shortest man alive today with a standing height of 65.24 cm tall (2 ft 1.6 in). He was born in Iran on July 13, 2002.
According to Guinness World Records, he was transported to our Dubai office, where three measurements were made over the course of a day, yielding the precise record height, Afshin is the fourth-shortest man ever.
Afshin Esmaeil Biography
Afshin was found in a rural area in the Iranian West Azerbaijan Province’s Bukan County. He speaks the Farsi dialect and is fluent in Kurdish and Persian.
It hasn’t been simple for Afshin to live in Northern Iran. Due to his stature, Afshin was unable to attend school and has experienced literacy issues. He is happy to have just learned how to write his name, though.
Afshin’s Daily routine
Afshin’s family works hard, yet they occasionally struggle to pay for his living expenses, medications, and treatment, and they reside in a modest home.
Because of his small stature, Afshin cannot work in construction like his father because there is no employment available in his village for someone his size.
Afshin’s Hope and Dreams
Afshin enjoys playing and watching football, and he is a fan of the Iranian Esteghlal Football Club. His favorite footballers are Cristiano Ronaldo and Ali Daei, both of whom possess Guinness World Records (Portugal).
Everyone in his village seems to agree that he is extroverted and nice. Mohamad is the name he goes by with his parents and in his neighborhood.
The Iranian appears to be a content person on the outside. He admitted that he wishes he wasn’t so dependent on his parents. As much as he can walk without assistance, he cannot travel alone. He would have loved to purchase and drive a car but his height prevents him from doing so.
He is always escorted by one of his parents because he is unable to move around the village alone. Afshin can walk without being assisted, but he sometimes wants to be carried.

The only clothes that fit him are those intended for toddlers, but since he is 20 and doesn’t enjoy the cartoonish styles, he wears a suit that was specially tailored for him.
While Afshin has never been able to participate in any sports, he enjoys dancing every time Iranian Kurdish music is on, he breaks out his best dance routines.
