The album was nominated in the “Best Global Music Album” category at the 2022 Grammys, the same category Burna Boy won last year for his outstanding “twice as tall” album.
His platinum song, Essence was also submitted in the “Best Global Music Performance” category.
Recall that Essence become the first African song to go Platinum in the united states, after selling 1 million copies in America, and the first Nigerian Song To Reach the Top 10 In Hot 100 Chart History. The Song hit a new peak of No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 on Monday, October 11, 2021,
Wizkid alongside Tems received the platinum plaques at Novo Theatre, Los Angeles after his concert in the same theatre, while receiving the plaque, Wizkid appreciated his fans for their constant support, his whole team who contributed any effort in the making of the song he also appreciated Tems, where he noted that he is the CEO of rebel gang the fan base for Tems.
