An Accurate Timeline of Wizkid’s dating history: From Sophie Rammal to Jada P

Wizkid’s relationship status recently came into question, after the international Nigerian Singer took to his social media platform to cry out about the woes of his relationship status. According to him, he has been single for so long and he needs 1 or 2.  This however has generated mixed reactions from fans and haters, who questioned his relationship status with Jada P, his manager, and alleged partner, as they now have two children together.

The entire event took a turn for worse as Jada P reacting to Wizkid’s claim of being single gave a hint that she and Wizkid are probably having relationship problems. She said  in now-deleted tweets: “Taking arguments to social media is never going to end well” and, “Controlling emotions!”

This is not the first the African Star boy has been caught in a relationship scandal, Wizkid over the course of his career has been involved in numerous affairs with several women across the globe. 1.  Sophie Rammal

Sophie Rammal was Wizkid’s first girlfriend, the two have been in a relationship prior to Wizkid’s rise to stardom. The Nigerian actress of Lebanese descent was featured as a vixen in Wizkid’s Holla at your boy music video of her ex-boyfriend Wizkid in 2010. The ex-couple reportedly broke up in 2011, due to Wizkid’s involvement with other women. Sophie is now married to Wale Alakija, son of the Nigerian Billionaire, Folorunsho Alakija.

2. Sola Ogudungu

Sola Ogudungu is a Nigerian-born entrepreneur,  and Wizkid’s first baby Mama, the duo were reportedly engaged in a sexual relationship in 2010, which eventually led to a son in 2011. It reported then that Wizkid impregnated then-undergraduate student Sola Ogudugu but denied the pregnancy until it was confirmed through a DNA test, that the child was his. The duo now share joint custody of the Child, Boluwatife Balogun, who is more than 9 years old now.

3. Victoria Kimani

Wizkid and Victoria Kimani, a Kenyan singer were also rumored to have been dating.  The rumor began after the  Kenya media reported that they caught Wizkid kissing the Singer in a car. According to the reports, Wizkid made his appearance at  a club in the company of Lax, Muthoni DQ, and Victoria Kimani. After a few drinks, he hopped in a car with the singer, where they started kissing before the car sped off.  Despite not addressing the rumor the duo was caught again at the Westland Hotel in Kenya.

4. Tania Omotayo

Wizkid revealed to the host of “Drive-Time With Gbemi” show on the Beat 99.9 FM, Gbemi Olateru during an interview that he was dating Tania Omotayo at that period. According to Austin Media, Tania is Wizkid’s longest relationship at the time as the couple spent a whole 5 years before breaking up with him due to his incessant cheating. Tania Omotayo is now married to popular Lagos bar owner, Sumbo and they have a child together.

5. Hudda Monroe

Rumour had it that former Big Brother Africa housemate Hudda Monroe was dating Wizkid. She went to confirm by posting photos of her and Wizkid on Instagram. The Big Brother Africa ex-housemate, during a chat with the media, revealed that Wizkid who was in Kenya at that time for a music concert had spent some quality time with her. It was also reported that the Kenya-born socialite had traveled to Nigeria countless times to be with Wizkid. She was reportedly one of the reasons for Wizkid’s on-and-off relationship with his ex-girlfriend Tania Omotayo.

6. Binta Diamond Diallo

Guniea Born Vixen, Binta Diamond Diallo is one of the women caught in Wizkid’s web of relationship scandal. The Us based Vixen was in a quiet relationship with the singer until she became pregnant and welcomed a son Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun Jnr for the singer in 2016. It wasn’t clear whether the ex-couple had a romantic relationship or it was just plainly sexual. According to reports, Tania broke up with Wiz after getting the news that Wizkid was expecting another baby from Binta. Binta however claimed that she met Wiz when he was single.

7. Justine Skye

In 2017, Wizkid was linked with upcoming American Singer, Justin Skye. The Couple made their first appearance at the first-ever One Africa Music Festival held in 2016 at the Barclays Centre in New York. According to reports, the singers couldn’t publicly confirm their affair because Justine was still seen as underage but several tweets from each other from time to time were also very good reasons to believe there were already having a nice time with each other.

In July 2017, the stars were spotted together again at a birthday party of Wizkid. It was Justine herself who posted some photos on her Snapchat showing that she attended Wizkid’s celebration and bought a cake for him. Also, the American star proceeded to like quite an interesting tweet from the Nigerian celebrity, where he wrote “Baby, you are not going anywhere! You belong to me” and added the devil emoji. Later, Wizkid deleted the tweet.

8. Tiwa Savage

Throughout 2018, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage’s relationship was the highlight of the entire industry. Although the duo never explicitly stated that they were dating, they were however caught in public numerous times, showing each other affection.  In the same year, Wizkid and Tiwa shared romantic moments in Wizkid’s music video for “Fever”.

However, in an interview with the media, Nigerian multitalented singer, Tiwa Savage disclosed why she has a special relationship with Wizkid. She said: “You already know how emotional I get so this is just making me teary. Forget music, he has been there for me even when I didn’t have anyone by my side. I can’t doubt my feelings, I love Wizkid so much and he put a smile on my face.

9.  Jada P

American Entrepreneur and music executive, Jada Pollock popularly known as Jada P is Wizkid’s recent partner. The couple in 2012 while she was still managing popular American-based singer, Chris Bown. She then became Wizkid’s manager but their relationship became more than just professional, after having a son together in 2017.

The duo was reported to have done a secret marriage away from the media, after having another child together in 2022. Prior to the recent hullabaloo, Jada P is known for using her social media platform in showing her love for the Singer. In one of her tweets, she stated that she has never loved anyone the way she loves the Nigerian music star noting that their love is magical.
