William H. Macy is an American actor best known for his spectacular roles in various TV shows and films. Fargo (1996), Pie (2014), Shameless , among others. He has been known to appear in independent small films and in a variety of action films. Macy sees himself as a Central American man in Hollywood.

After completing his high school in Maryland, Macy ventured into veterinary medicine, a field distinct from the arts. He later realized his mistake when his misfortune facilitated a transfer to Goddard College, where he met and studied popular playwright David Mamet. Macy got his first clean break working with David Mamet on various projects until joining AFTRA which allowed him to get the SAG card and make him one of the most recognized Hollywood actors to date. He has played various roles in various shows and films including Thanks for Smoking (2005), Doogal (2006), Everybody’s Hero (2006), Zimmer (2015),The Stopover (2017), The Unity (2007), Nightmares and Dreamscapes (2006) and others.
