Why we should support Crowwe App as Nigerians

Crowwe is a Nigerian multi-purpose messaging, social media, and mobile payment app created by  IPI Solutions Nigeria Limited  A tech company managed by Adamu Garba, a former presidential aspirant, and an APC chieftain.

The Crowwe App has an instant messaging feature that allows users to exchange text, images, video, audio messages for free and receive and send files with individuals or as a group. This feature also allows users to retrieve messages already sent. It also allows video and audio calls.

The app also has a social media feature that allows users to share pictures and video content, like and comment on videos and pictures shared, tag other users in posts shared, permit sponsoring of business content, and space for chats.

And a mobile payment app allows users to pay for goods and services digitally by using mobile devices, by using a custom gateway platform provided on the platform.

In recent times, Nigerian Netizen has shown hostility towards the indigenous multi-purpose app due to Adamu Garba’s political and social stance.

Adamu Garba who claimed to be the most patriotic Nigerian has always shown support to every federal government policy, irrespective of the effect of such policy on the people.

Adamu who supported the Federal Government ban on cryptocurrency in February also rejoiced when the federal government announced the suspension of Twitter in April.

In retaliation to the social media suspension, many Nigerian tweeps made and submitted terrible reviews about the Crowwe app which eventually led to the removal of the app from the google play store.

Although the APC chieftain debunked the news that the app was deleted from Google Playstore, stating that he demanded that the app should be removed from the store because he needed to update the code.

However, from a personal point of view, the deletion of the Crowwe app from the google play store is a huge loss for the Nigerian tech industry the entire country as a whole.

Shutting down or boycotting an indigenous  Tech startup based on political and ideological differences is a shame on Nigeria Netizens.

It cannot be overstated that most of the Top economies we have today in the world are technological-oriented economies.

We should then as good citizens, encourage Tech development in the country rather than shut down Tech start-up based on Ideological and political differences

Crowwe mobile payment app which allows users to pay for goods and services digitally has significantly improved operations and lowered the cost of doing business for its users and Nigerians generally.

Apart from generally benefitting the economy, Tech start-ups like Crowwe tend to create more employment opportunities than other conventional businesses.

Showing Support and encouraging the use of Crowee is not showing support for Adamu Garba or his Ideologies.

It is showing for the Nigerian tech industry as a whole, it is being patriotic and encouraging the development of the economy technologically.
