Why I purchased the house worth N17.5m__ Lagos amputee talks

We guess the worst is totally over for the popular Lagos amputee, Mary Daniel as he announced the new house she bought, which is worth over N17m.

During a housewarming held on Saturday — about four months after her story went viral — Mary revealed that she bought the house at Igando, a suburb of Lagos out of the N25 million people donated to her.

Painfully, her story of losing a leg in an accident that killed all passengers, including her parents when she was a teenager, turned out to be false.

Recall that she came to the hotspot wing of the society when she was spotted hawking sachet water in the Oshodi area of the state despite her condition.

However, investigations conducted have shown that the accounts she gave were laced with falsehood to evoke pity and goodwill from Nigerians.

Meanwhile, she expressed gratitude to Nigerians, thank them for their support and expressed happiness at her new status.

She also expressed her happiness that her daughter, Success, is now with her and has started school.

Mary has two tenants residing already.
