Why beans is more preferable than rice
Beans is more preferable than rice why because beans have different combination compare to rice
Bean and rice are both food that gives the body nutrient, just that they both are quite different in the sense of the classes of food. Rice is Carbohydrate while beans, on the other hand, is proteinous food which gives more nutrient to the body, but most people choose rice over beans because the cooking doesn’t take time to compare to beans and it can be cooked in different ways like white rice, Jollof rice, fried rice and Chinese rice to mention but few. Beans on the other hand can also be cooked in different ways as well like White beans, red oil beans, grind beansĀ can be used for moin moin, Ekuru and Gberi soup(Beans Soup)
However, am not disputing the fact that rice is not preferable but I want to make my point clear why I will choose it over rice. Beans have combinations that can be eaten with, although rice can also be eaten with beans, plantain, spaghetti.
Beans can be served with different combinations which I will itemise below;
* Beans with Garri– Most people prefer to take their beans with garri most especially when the beans is hot, the sweetest part is that they will add sugar, milk to the garri with chilled water, some people love to add the garri on the beans.
*Beans with Bread– Beans do go well with bread, bread with beans do last longer in the stomach and with N50 or N100 bread u will enjoy ur beans
*Beans with Rice– Rice is also another combination of beans, beans can be cooked with rice. It can be white rice and beans served with stew with different kind of meat you prefer, it can also be cooked as jollof rice and beans
*Beans with Yam or Potatoes– Eating beans with yam or potatoes is the sweetest, most especially cooking it together as a concoction or separately to add stew
*Beans with Pap- Beans can also be served with pap, it can be hot pap or cold one with enough sugar or milk
*Beans with plantain– Beans can also be served with plantain, it is always sweet and yummy
Beans can also be ground and it can be served as;

Grind beans can be served as MoinMoin which can be eaten with bread, garri, pap and egg
*Akara(Beans cake)
Grind beans can also be served as Akara, you don’t cook Akara, but fry it with either red oil or vegetable oil
Grind beans can also serve as soup( Gbegiri) Beans soup
*Gbegiri soup– This is beans soup which can be taken with swallow food like Semovita, Pounded yam, Wheat, Amala and the rest. It can also be mixed together with Ewedu soup.
