Nigerian music legend, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has recently been all over the headline for hinting at a romantic relationship with Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru. This revelation comes shortly after his separation from his wife Annie Idibia. 2Baba even stated his intention to take things further with Osawaru, in proposal video, that has taken the internet by storm. In the midst of this controversy Nigerians have been wondering who Natasha Osawaru is, and how she came to be involved in 2 baba never ending marriage controversy .
Who is this Natasha Osawaru?
Natasha Irobosa Osawaru is a Nigerian politician and a lawmaker in the Edo State House of Assembly, representing the Egor Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Online report, shows that she was born on November 14, 1994 in Edo State, to Desmond Osawaru and Philomina Osawaru and the granddaughter of Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, a renowned businessman and philanthropist.
According to a punch report, Natasha was elected into the Edo House of Assembly in 2023. She is currently serving as the Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly. She has reportedly been actively involved in youth empowerment and women advocacy since she assumed office.

Controversy with 2 Baba
As earlier stated, Natasha has been trending all over social and new media platform, due to her unconfirmed relationship with the Nigerian Music legend 2baba.
The whole issue began after 2Baba, hinted at a romantic relationship with Edo State lawmaker. Things got complicated after the singer stormed the Edo State House of Assembly unexpectedly on Monday, February 10, 2025 causing commotion during the plenary session.
He said, “Allegedly, I have been seeing so many things, so many people coming up with their own false narratives and malicious nonsense after I posted that stuff that I posted. Yes, I posted what I posted.
“Hon. Natasha has been dragged, she has been called all sorts of names, she has been labelled as a home breaker.
“She is a young brilliant amazing woman and she had nothing to do with what is happening between me and Annie in our marriage.” He continued, “Yes I love her, she is amazing, she is cool, I want to marry her.”
