BACKGROUND

The Media personality, Nancy Isime was born to the Family of Mr and Mrs Isime on 17th December 1991 in Edo state.

Nancy Isime lost her Mum at age 5 and was brought up solely by her Dad. She grew up in Lagos. Although she is not so close to her dad, due to how strict he was raising her.

Nancy Isime remained grateful to her dad, because according to her. His disciplinary actions and fatherly advice helped in shaping her into the woman she’s today. Obviously, our parents – whether mom or dad – always want the best for us.

EDUCATION

Nancy Isime had her primary and Junior secondary education in Lagos State where she grew up. Afterwards, she left for Benin, where she had her senior secondary education. She did a six-month basic course at the University of Port Harcourt and a Diploma in Social Work at the University of Lago.

CAREER

Nancy didn’t venture into acting on graduation. She started up as a model. Perhaps, people’s compliments made her consider modelling as an option.

Later, Nancy ventured into modelling while she was still in school as a way of supporting herself and lessening her dad’s burden.

While younger, Nancy Isime thought about being a geologist, then, a lawyer. Later, she wanted to be a certified surgeon. In fact, she later thought of being either a social worker or a pilot. Well, she is a certified social worker, but not practically.

Now, Nancy Isime has made a name for herself. Both in modelling and acting, which she subsequently ventured into about a decade ago. Nancy has acted in different movies and won many hearts and awards all to herself.

Her acting career started in 2011. This was after a film producer who saw her on the runway indicated an interest in working with her. She had her first job acting in 2011. Then, she featured in a TV series, ‘Echoes.’

Nancy Isime is also a television presenter, known for presenting gossip show The Squeeze, technology show What’s Hot and backstage segments of MTN Project Fame season 7. In 2016 she replaced Toke Makinwa as the presenter of the popular show Trending on HipTV.  She co-hosted the 2019 edition of The Headies award with Reminisce. She is also the presenter of the voice Nigeria 2021

She is the executive producer and content creator of the nancyisimeshow and also the CEO of the Nip studio
