Celebrities are known for being runners-up houses. It’s like once a person becomes a celebrity they have to sign a contract stating that in order to become a true celebrity they have to buy a second home. The general perception is that celebrities buy second homes because they want to flash their money. To a certain extent this statement is true; Many celebrities buy second homes to show off their wealth. However, one of the top reasons celebrities cite for buying a second home is that they are looking for a little peace and quiet. Believe it or not, celebrity life is extremely tough as there is constant public exposure. Second homes for celebrities are a retreat, a place to get away from it all.

Let’s find out where all these celebrities are hiding to take a break. What follows is a list of a number of prominent second homes.
