Human rights lawyer Deji Adeyanju has vowed to drag GTBank to court over the arrest and alleged inhumane treatment of social media activist VeryDarkMan.

Adeyanju, who is also a vocal associate of the detained activist, made the announcement via his X (formerly Twitter) handle, where he accused the bank of playing an active role in the controversial arrest carried out by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

“Once I get back to Nigeria on Tuesday, I will transfer all my money from GTB to another bank and close the account — both in my Naira and Domiciliary accounts,” he wrote.
