He began acting at the young age of 16, performing in community theater and at the SAK Comedy Lab. Before enrolling in the University of Miami, he studied at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando.

Wayne’s career debut was in the British improv theater version of the show Whose Line Is It Anyway? in 1998. She won a Primetime Emmy Award for her performance on the show in 2003.
