Vignesh Shivan (born 18 September 1985) is an Indian Film Director, Lyric Writer and Actor from Chennai (Tamil Nadu, India). He was regularly associated with the Tamil film industry.
Sivan worked with singers like Anirudh Ravichander, Dhanush and Simbu. Initially, she created a short film. He asked Dharan for the music composition. Subsequently, Vignesh showed his film to the producers Gemini Film Circuit.
The filmmakers accepted his first film i.e. Podda Podi (2012). Shanaya Telefilms also ventured money on her debut project. In October 2012, the film was released theatrically after four years and received a mix.
As a lyricist, he was active in the industry. He wrote songs like Tamilselvi, Peela Peela, Orey Oru, Angry Bird, Bad Boy, En Life in Angel, Remo Nee Kadhalan and Showkali. Shivan moved to New York City to celebrate the birthday of his lover Nayanthara.
