The footage was captured by an individual who appeared shocked while filming the whole scenario from an uncompleted building.
Moreso, in the viral video, one of the men is seen at one point chanting incantations into a grave, as the two others continue to have their bath. Once done, the trio were seen dropping their soap on a grave before they all ran out of the cemetery by jumping a fence.
However, in their desperation to join the ranks of scores of their compatriots who have been making millions of dollars out of online scams, young Nigerian based wannabe scammers are known as ‘yahoo boys’ are resorting to the use of traditional charms and mystical powers to charm potential victims into their scams.
In a few years now, ritual killings have been on the increase.
Although ritual crimes cut across almost all regions in the country, they are more pronounced in the western and eastern states of Nigeria.
Yahoo Boys are young men —usually aged between 22-29 years—who specialise in various types of cybercrime. Many of them may be undergraduates or college dropouts whose distinct lifestyles of fast cars, wealth and ostentation is the envy of many of their age-mates. The Yahoo Boys are not limited by geography— the internet is their home— and their victims are as diverse as there are naive and people ready to fall for get-rich-quick scams.
