Dino Melaye (SDM) has called out the President Buhari whose agenda he refers as the greatest scam that came out of Africa.

He made this known during an interview with ChannelsTV on Friday to discuss PDP and 2023 agenda.

Recall that the then Senator Dino Melaye was one of the strong supporters of the Buhari campaign when he wanted to contest for the office of the presidency.

However, Dino Melaye has come out to apologise to God and Nigerians for supporting Buhari in his campaign.

“I apologise to God almighty who is the supreme controller of the universe and to Nigerians for supporting Buhari.

” The Buhari agenda is the greatest scam that came out of Africa. The Buhari presidency in 2015 is the greatest scam that came out of Africa because the subject matter Buhari is the greatest con that came out of Africa”

Speaking further, he said he regretted supporting Buhari and the APC party as they were all scammed.

Dino Melaye who is now a member of the opposition party, PDP, when asked if he was saying this because he has defected from the party said it is one of the reasons he left APC for PDP.

In response, he said, “I spoke like this even when I was a member of the APC because I am a Christian and the Bible is superior to me, the Bible is superior to the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria and he talked about unequal yoke; darkness and light don’t concur so I have to leave darkness.”

Giving assurance as to why Nigerians should believe him now seeing that he was one of the major persons that championed Buhari’s campaign to victory said “Very well because old things are passed away behold, everything has becoming new.”

In furtherance, he lamented that he has never witnessed what he’s seeing in the present Buhari administration in his entire life while leveling a corruption allegation on the government.

“A country where – I don’t think it would happen again anywhere in the world – where a contract that was approved by the Federal Executive Council about two weeks ago, Kano to Abuja road project where 1km of road is costing 2.1billion Naira when the world bank has pegged 240 as the maximum irrespective of the texture of that road. We are not even constructing a new road here. It’s an existing road that is not going to be expanded. We are not building new bridges.”
