Vicky met Chris for the first time during a French tour with the group Audioslave. According to reports, Karayiannis was doing their publicity report while the band was touring France. Things took off quickly for the couple and it didn’t take long for Chris to propose to Vicky. She obviously said yes, and the couple tied their vows in 2004 in the presence of close friends and family.

Later in September 2004, Vicky gave birth to the couple’s first child, Toni Cornell. A year later, she gave birth to Christopher Nicholas Cornell. Before finding Vicky, Chris was married to Alice In Chains manager Sarah Silver. Things didn’t work out for this couple and they divorced in 2004. Chris then experienced several mental issues. He was then prescribed psychoactive drugs by his doctor which was a dangerous mild modifying drug. Chris passed away on May 17 after performing with his band hours earlier. His passing was terrible news for the whole world and obviously came as a big shock to Vicky. However, we wish him the best for his future.
