1. Michael Kurer(1983-2000) – Michael Kurer was a junior orthopedic surgeon when he met Vanessa in the early 80’s. He proposed to her on their very first date, and in 1983 they were married in a lavish wedding ceremony. Shortly thereafter, they became parents of two daughters, Allegra Kurer (b. 1986) and Saskia Kurer (b. 1989). Amazingly, in 1999, Michael gave her a three-month ultimatum, asking her to get in shape or he would leave her. So Vanessa trained for 7 weeks with her personal trainer Dennis Duhaney, in whose presence she received the ultimatum. Michael left her anyway after those 7 weeks and it was later learned that he was having an affair with a junior doctor named Rachel Evans. Their divorce, finalized in 2000, proved financially draining as they were 1, Had to shell out £5million in the settlement. Vanessa was also severely depressed after her divorce which led to her losing a ton of weight falling from a UK size 26 to a size 12.
2. Fitzroy Charles (2001) – Vanessa reportedly hooked up with FitzroyCharles, a bouncer, in 2001. She claimed they flirted with each other but never became physically intimate. Things took a turn for the worse when Fitzroy went into detail about the nature of her alleged relationship with a leading newspaper. Vanessa filed a complaint citing an invasion of privacy, but it was rejected by the PCC (Press Complaints Commission) on the grounds that she had previously shared details about her private life.
3. Dennis Duhaney (2000-2006) – Immediately after her divorce from Michael Kurer, Vanessa worked closely with Dennis Duhaney, who was her personal fitness trainer. The two formed a bond and began dating soon after. It was reported that Dennis unexpectedly ended his relationship in 2006.
4. Ben Ofoedu (2006 to present) – Vanessa met Anglo-Nigerian musician Ben Ofoedu, former lead singer of music band Phats & Small , at a 2006 London party. She is 10 years his senior and was introduced to Ben through a mutual friend and Boyzone star, Keith Duffy. They felt an instant connection and got engaged in December 2016. A year later, they were spotted announcing the dates for a civil marriage. However, it never materialized. In 2011, the couple again announced an upcoming wedding and their plans to adopt a baby to no avail. The long-term partners live together in St. Johns Wood in London.

Vanessa has always had a love-hate relationship with her weight. Although she’s never been a fat kid, she gained weight after having two pregnancies in quick succession and letting herself go during that time. After her 16-year marriage collapsed, she lost 13 pounds due to her depressed mental state. As soon as she started feeling, her weight shot up again.

She calls herself an emotional eater, in which she eats for any occasion. In 2010, she had a gastric band in her stomach (a surgical treatment that restricts food intake and thus helps control obesity). She lost almost 4 stones within 6 months after the surgery. However, she would find ways to satisfy her cravings for foods like chocolate, risotto, and shepherd’s pie.

It was her partner Ben Ofoedu who gave her the confidence to be comfortable with her body and to say that he loved chubby blonde girls. This helped Vanessa feel more comfortable in her own skin and accept the fact that she would never have a slim figure. Since then she has become more body conscious.

1. Feltz was the first columnist for the London-based Jewish weekly, The Jewish Chronicle.
2. In May 2003, Channel Four conducted a poll of 100 Worst Britons and Vanessa placed 93rd on the list.
3. Vanessa wrote her first book called What are these strawberries doing on my nipples? I need them for the fruit salad in 1995.
4. In 2014, Vanessa brought up her story of s @ xual assault at the hands of disgraced TV personality Rolf Harris. During the interview live on Channel 4 Big Breakfast in May 1996, Rolf inappropriately groped her for the presence of his wife and crew members. Her story was confirmed after examining the show’s tape. Vanessa had decided to take action against Harris in light of multiple repeated assaults, for which he had been sentenced to 5 years and 9 months in prison. However, he was released in 2017 after completing just 3 years of his sentence.
5. Vanessa became the target of journalist Kevin Myers when an overtly racist article was published in The Sunday Times in 2017. The article, titled “Sorry Ladies – Equal Salary Must Be Earned,” allegedly vanessa and Claudia Winkleman, both presenters for the BBC were paid well because they were Jewish. Myers was fired from the paper for its unjust attack on the Jewish people when Vanessa called the column “vile”.
