Val Kilmer is an American actor, musician, singer, director, producer and artist. He is best known for his film roles in Top Secret! (1984), Real Genius (1985), Top Gun (1986), Willow (1988) and Tombstone (1993). He also portrayed 2 well-known musicians, Jim Morrison in The Doors (1991) and Elvis Presley in True Romance (1993) as well as Chris Shiherlis in H Essen (1995), Batman in Batman Forever (1995), Simon Templar in The Saint (1997 ) and Moses in The Prince of Egypt(1998). Val Kilmer made his musical debut in the feature film Top Secret! in 1984 where he sang songs SKEET SURFING , TUTTI FRUTI , HOW STUPID CAN YOU GET? , ARE YOU LONELY TONIGHT? , Spend tonight with me , and STRAIGHTEN THE CARPET . He also released an album, which he titled identically to the character he played in the film, Nick Rivers , that contained all of these songs.
In 1991 he sang songs Dead Cats, Dead Rats , Five on One , Touch Me , The Gentle Parade , Don’t Touch the Earth , The End , My Wild Love , The Crystal Ship , Break Through , Light My Fire , and Moonlight Ride in the film The Doors . Val also sang Heartbreak Hotel in True Romance (1993) and God Bless the Child in The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996).
