1. He also excelled at basketball while studying in high school. He played as a power forward on the high school team.
2. On the high school football team, he played as a defensive back and regularly served as the team’s close end.
3. When he graduated high school, he wasn’t considered one of the best players in the country. He had only received a 3-star rating from Rivals.com.
4. Despite his average rating as a high school recruit, he received offers from Notre Dame, Purdue, Minnesota, and Indiana . He eventually decided to attend Notre Dame .
