The 47-year-old arrived at Stamford Bridge in January, replacing club legend Frank Lampard as head coach on an initial 18-month deal “with the possibility of an extension”.
Recall that he initially signed the 18-month deal in January to replace Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge; the German guided the Premier League club to silverware on Saturday as Kai Havertz’s first-half strike sealed Chelsea’s second Champions League success.
