Tuba Büyüküstün (in Arabic توبا بويوكستون) is a Turkish actress and model born July 5, 1982 in Istanbul (age: 36). In 2014, she was nominated as the first Turkish actress at the Emmy Awards for her role as “Melek Halaskar” in the television series “ 20 Dakika” . She is also the ambassador of UNICEF.
In 2005, she played the role of Aysun in Babam ve Oğlum .
In 2006, she played the role of Lamis in the series “ Sanawat Dayaa” . This series was followed by thirty-nine million women in the Arab world, and generated favorable economic spin-offs for tourism in Istanbul and Turkey’s external balance.
From 2007 to 2009, she is known for her role Asi in the eponymous series ” Asi ” which was followed all over the world: in Turkey, Lebanon and the Arab world and this series is distributed in sixty-seven countries. This series was popular in Greece, Egypt and Morocco, and was also nominated for the audience award in the soap operas, telenovelas and soap operas category at the 51st Monte-Carlo television festival.
