Trish Stratus began her career as a receptionist at a local gym. She was spotted there by the editor of MUSCLEMAG and then she appeared on the cover of the magazine’s May 1998 issue.

Stratus further worked on his body and was also featured in several other magazines. WWF took a look at her modeling work and then, in 1999, she signed a multi-year contract with the company. WWF sent her to Sully’s gym to be trained by Ron Hutchinson.
