1. Babajide Sanwo-Olu (APC) – 9 Million
Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is the current Governor of Lagos State in Nigeria. He assumed the office of Lagos State Governor in October 2019 as a member of the All Progressives Congress. Although his win against the incumbent Governor, Akinwunmi at the party’s gubernatorial primary was unexpected.
Before then, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu was the treasurer at the former Lead Merchant Bank from 1994 to 1997, before moving on to become the head of the foreign money market at the United Bank for Africa. Thereafter, he worked as a deputy general manager and divisional head for First Inland Bank, Plc (now First City Monument Bank). He was the chairman of Baywatch Group Limited and First Class Group Limited, both of which he founded.
Currently, he’s one of the top Governorship Candidates in Lagos State as the 2023 elections draw near.

2. Olajide Adeniran (PDP) – 7 Million
Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adeniran is a journalist and philanthropist.
In 2022, he announced his plan to unseat Governor Sanwo-Olu in 2023 but the party (APC) opposed this ambition, denying him a governorship ticket for the 2023 elections. Consequently, he defected to the opposing party (PDP) and won the primaries.
Jide Adeniran who s the convener of the Lagos4Lagos Movement opines that the current leadership which involves godfatherism only favors a few at the expense of many.
Ideally, a lot of people support his motion, making him one of the top Governorship Candidates for Lagos State 2023.

3. Tope Balogun (AA) – 1.2 Million
Tope Abdulrazaq Balogun is one of the candidates contesting in the 2023 Lagos State Gubernatorial election under the umbrella of the Action Alliance party. He announced Yemisi Henwa, as his running mate.
Balogun was the former Secretary of the Congress for Progressives Change (CPC) in Lagos State.
When asked what he is going to do differently, Balogun promised to embark on rural expansion so rural areas enjoy more benefits of development, provide 150,000 jobs to solve unemployment, and also provide 24 minivans for fire service emergencies to mitigate fire outbreaks.
