1. The Beauty Racism Scandal
These beauty experts needed a refresher course! An incident involving racism that was covered by Vox and The Washington Post in the summer of 2018 shocked the beauty industry. The beginning of it all was a dispute between Jeffree Star, a makeup artist, and other beauty experts. When followers found objectionable social media postings from Gabby Zamora, Nikita Dragun, Manny MUA, and Laura Lee, who previously urged black people to pull up their trousers when fleeing from police it backfired on Zamora, who claimed Star was racist in a tweet. Lee’s iconic and widely mocked apology video resulted from the affair.
2. False kidnapping of Marina Joyce
This teenage beauty YouTuber came under intense investigation in July 2016. Marina Joyce appeared to be acting suspiciously in a video discussing date attire. Her followers noticed right away that she wasn’t as animated as usual, and some even claimed they could see bruises on her body. Many saw them as indications that Joyce was in danger, and others even thought she had been abducted by ISIS. Using the hashtag #savemarinajoyce, panic swiftly spread online, leading to officials to her house. Her bruises were actually the consequence of a fall in the woods before filming the video, and the video was merely an embarrassing commercial. It doesn’t matter if this was a prank Joyce pulled, the truth, or just a lot of assumptions being made.
3. Sam Pepper’s “Killing Best Friend Prank”
Sam Pepper, a former housemate on Big Brother, is now most known for his “prank” videos. One of his movies from 2014 showed him groping ladies without their will, but a year later, he took things to a whole new level. The frightened response startled Pepper, and Golbach stated that the video’s main message was to “live life to the fullest.” When petitions requesting Pepper’s YouTube account be suspended surfaced, he replied with a GoFundMe website, vowing to erase it if donations reached $1.5 million. By February 2016, Pepper began privatizing his videos and purging his Twitter account before re-emerging as a vlogger.

Another ex, Jaclyn Glenn, did step out in Turner’s defense, but she also said that throughout their relationship she frequently felt pressed but never forced to do anything. She posted once more in November, this time complaining that Turner had been contacting her nonstop and that she wished the whole thing to end.
5. Dispute around Channel Awesome Management
People can only take so much at once. Former Channel Awesome employees claimed that higher management had mistreated them in March 2018. The Walker Brothers were accused of being inefficient, neglecting to communicate with the producers, and fostering an extremely sexist workplace, according to their accusers. A few months later, a Google Drive document titled “Not So Awesome” was published, with several further concerns. Channel Awesome dismissed the allegations, branding its former workers “disgruntled” and “vindictive,” which only made matters worse. There were originally 40 producers, but once the dust settled, there were just four.
6. The Fine Brothers
Online multimedia creators Benny and Rafi Fine have been working together since 2004. Their React Series, an unscripted film of individuals responding to things like viral videos and trends, is well-known.

The sweet video rapidly gained a lot of attention and new followers after becoming viral. Their relationship didn’t continue; in fact, the pair announced their separation in January 2020. She admitted that they weren’t officially married in December 2020.

However, if you look up “Austin McBroom” plus the phrase “scandal” in a web search, the patriarch, you won’t know where to begin with this channel. For starters, Austin has been sued for unpaid bills, including the repossession of their $13 million property, and has been accused of cheating on his wife and beating other women. He has also received harsh criticism for his unruly behavior around his own children, particularly when he took his daughter to an adult toy store and uploaded a Snapchat video about it.
