Top 10 Longest Prison Sentences In History
Here is a compilation of the 10 longest prison sentences in history, led by the infamous Chamoy Thipyaso with 141, 078 years
I recently published a post on the longest wrongful incarcerations in the history of the United States. It was actually a sad site to see, as the article contained a list of innocent men, mostly black, spending as much as 40 years in prison for a crime they did not commit. The prison is supposed to serve as a punishment, deterrent, or rehabilitation for people who commit actual crimes. With that in mind, I decided to compile a list of the longest prison sentences in history. The sentences actually seem outrageous on the surface but are well deserved considering the weight of the crime committed by the convicts.
