The hip hop world was devastated by this news in 2002. Lisa was a standout singer in the group TLC. Her legacy will live on, but the tragic accident will never be forgotten. Lisa traveled from La Ceiba to San Pedro Sula and was in the vehicle with her brother and sister, among others. Even if there are many rumors about the accident, it is only certain that the world has lost a great talent.

Steve Prefontaine – Mai 1975

Running has never been better if it wasn’t for Steve. His charismatic approach to the sport has made him the celebrity he was in the ’70s. As he set numerous records with Oregon University, his future looked very bright. But he lost his life in his MG convertible trying to miss another car. Two films and a documentary were made to celebrate his lifetime achievements after his death.

Billy Martin – December 1989

Billy is one of the most recognizable faces in Yankee history. His managerial skills were impeccable. The five-time manager was known for his ambitious pursuit of the end goal. He could have made champions out of small baseball teams. But after a long night with his friend, they lost control of the icy road in the Broome County town of Fenton. Billy was in the passenger seat, but he couldn’t survive the accident on Christmas.

Porfirio Rubirosa – June 1965

The ladies loved him and many will say thousands of women prayed for him. What is certain, however, is that he was married to the two richest women in the world, Doris Duke and Barbara Hutton. Of course, there’s no way around Ava Gardner, Jayne Mansfield, Eva Peron and Zsa Zsa Gabor. This man never did a real day’s work in his life. But he had no luck with his Ferrari as he was driving home from a late night party in a car accident.

Jackson Pollock – August 1956

Jackson’s amazing painting style had fascinated the world in the ’50s. The sprawling splatter canvases were not invented until he showed his talent. We shouldn’t mention that he was an even stronger inspiration for the young artists and some documentaries. He was drunk while driving his mistress and a friend to his home, lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree.

General George S. Patton – December 1945

Arguably the greatest commander of all time,George has received many prestigious awards. Most memorable are the Distinguished Service Awards and a Purple Heart during World War I. To this day, people keep his death mysterious and still unexplained. He was a passenger in a Cadillac that collided with a truck in Germany.

Jayne Mansfield – Juni 1967

The beautiful Jayne is among the tragic cases in the car accident story, too. Many of you remember her for her amazing looks, but also for her relationship with the Kennedy brothers. As an American sex symbol, she has always been in the spotlight. But she was unable to control her car, which hit a truck in the back.

Princess Grace Kelly – September 1982

The fans of the film Rear Window surely think of the beauty and talent of Grace. She was Princess of Monaco but also had a very good career in Hollywood. It is a tragedy that she had to die in such a tragic way. Grace did somersaults over a cliff into Monaco. The stroke was the reason and she died a day after the accident.

Princess Diana – August 1997

Broadcasting a funeral isn’t always the best idea. But Diana’s funeral was one of the most watched events in history. Many people loved her for numerous things, but she was also very controversial. She died in a car accident while driving in a tunnel on the Seine. There are a few things that are unclear about this accident and a lot of people think it wasn’t an accident.

James Dean – September 1955

James has become legendary with just three films on his achievement list. His insurgent career wouldn’t be any better if there weren’t a daredevil devil to drive the streets of California. Just like with Diana’s accident, people believe Dean wasn’t driving recklessly, at least that day. He will be remembered for the film Rebel Without a Cause and his charisma.
