Life is not a bed of roses and showbiz is one such industry where a life is made or killed every few minutes. Not all got off to a rosy start that made them an overnight star. There are many great actors who have been around for a while before finally coming due in Hollywood. They had to sleep day and night for years and make a name for themselves. It was their hard work and dedication that ultimately paid off and became the superstars everyone knows today.

Christina Hendricks
Bagged the title of Best Looking American Woman by Esquire Magazine in 2010, not many know that Christina Hendricks made her acting debut in the 1999 MTV series titled Undressed . Not a good start for the actress, the television queen took on many small roles and rose to fame as Joan Holloway in the AMC television series Mad Men (2007-2015). The actress is currently making waves in Another Time Period , a sitcom on Comedy Central in which she plays the role of Celine.
Ben Affleck
Winner of two Academy Awards and three Golden Globes, Ben Affleck is one of Hollywood’s hottest actors. But do you know that he started his acting career as a child artist on the PBS educational series? The Journey of Mimi (1984) & ndash; He rose to fame with the film Goodwill Hunt (1997), starring alongside his friend Matt Damon. He went on to produce many big hits thereafter and has a large following among girls. He is currently preparing to film his next directorial project Live By Night in November 2015.
Naomi Watts
Among People Magazine ‘s 50 Most Beautiful People of 2002, Naomi Watts is still hot despite being 47 years old. She began her career in the 1980s with small appearances in television commercials and in 1986 Watts made her film debut with For Love Alone . After being there for some time, she decided to say no to television, thinking she would be stuck for two to three years, and she later acknowledged that decision as a mistake. She is currently filming for The Variant Series: Allegiant – Part 1 which is due out in March 2016.
Channing Tatum
One of the most in-demand celebrities of today, Tatum started out with a $400 prize for his first job as a dancer in the music video for Ricky Martin’s hit song She Pops . In 2000, he began modeling and has worked with big brands like Armani and Abercrombie & Fitch . He also did some TV commercials and was among the 50 Most Beautiful Faces by Teardrop Magazine in 2001. He is now gearing up to star in X-Men , which he is also producing. He will also be co-producing for Ghostbusters .
Julianne Moore
The Oscar-winning actress entered the cinema much later and began her acting career with small roles on television. As the World Turns (1985-1988) on CBS was a television series that spotlighted her, and she received a Daytime Emmy for acting with half-sisters Frannie and Sabrina Hughes. Her first film was T Ales from the Dark Side: The Movie (1990) and she did many more films. Keyboard Shortcuts (1993) was the film that earned her critical acclaim and was not looked back on. She has three upcoming projects and is preparing for her roles.
Bryan Cranston
The remarkable 59-year-old actor, who is one of television industry veterans, began acting at the Granada Theater in the San Fernando Valley. It wasn’t a very satisfying start and television was his true calling to fame. His most famous television roles include Walter White in the AMC drama series Breaking Bad (2008-2013), Hal in Malcolm In The Middle (2000-2006) on Fox and Dr. Tim Whatley in the NBC comic series Seinfeld (1989-1998). Like Breaking Bad Cranston has worked with Sony Pictures Television to develop new television projects.
Ryan Gosling
One of the best actors, Ryan Gosling began his acting career as a child artist with Disney Channel’s Mic Key Mouse Club (1993–1995) and small stints in Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1995) and Goosebumps (1996). His acting skills were recognized on the romantic series The Notebook in 2004. He received four Teen Choice Awards and an MTV Movie Award for his role. He autographed a film entitled “Russell Crowe” The Nice Boys in July 2014 and is currently busy filming the film with some more filming in progress as well.

The 32-year-old gorgeous beauty began her acting career as an extracurricular activity before being spotted by an agent. After later doing many small TV roles and commercials, she burst into the limelight at age 15 on the Fox TV series That ’70’s Show (1998-2006). Her film success came in 2008 when she played the role of Rachel Jansen in Sarah Marshall Forgotten . She was ranked 89th among Forbes ‘ 100 Powerful Celebrities in 2013 and as of June 2013 she had already earned $11 million for the year. She founded her own production company titled Orchard Farm Production in October 2014 and is busy with her upcoming productions.
Aaron Paul
Do you remember Jesse Pinkman in the AMC series? Breaking Bad (2008-2013)? Well, that was Aaron Paul. He went on to win the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor, the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor, and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for the role. However, his career was not a rosy picture as he started out with small roles in music videos and cameos on television. Need for Speed (2014), A Long Way Down (2014) and Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014) are some of his most famous films. He currently serves as an executive producer on the Netflix animated series BoJack Horsemanand he lent his voice to the character of Todd Chavez on the show.

He began his career appearing in small roles in music videos, and met director Guy Ritchie while working for the French Connection. He was a salesman who worked hard to make ends meet before he wrapped up acting. His breakthrough came with films like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998), S natch (2000) and Revolver (2005). He was recently seen in Furious 7 (2015) and has just made his debut in a comedy film called Spy which has shown that he is an all-round star and not just an action star.
