Tony Kabaka is a dreaded cultist, a prominent member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and a popular political thug known for perpetuating clandestine activities for politicians in Edo state. He was recently in the news after a video of him giving his life to christ went viral.
The political enforcer presented himself alongside some of his members stated his property was destroyed by the Edo state government so he also used the opportunity to ask God to help touch the heart of the State’s present Governor, Godwin Obaseki to have mercy on him.
Prior to Tony Kabaka giving his life to Christ, he was recently mentioned at a recent BBC Africa Eye Report of being a dreaded member of the dreaded Black Axe confraternity.
It is generally believed that Tony carries out most of his nefarious activities for the All Progressive Congress, most particularly Adams Oshiomhole, the former governor of Edo State and national chairman of APC
Tony Kabaka’s Biography
Not much is known about Tony Kabaka aside from the fact that his real name is Tony Adun and he is a niece to Chief Osamede Adun the Aiyobahan of Benin Kingdom.
He is also the Chairman of Akugbe Ventures, a consultancy firm with the Edo state government in charge of the collection of personal income tax (PIT) from commercial vehicles within the eighteen local government areas of the state.
Aside from Akugbe Ventures Tony runs other ventures such as  T.Latifah Hotel & Suites which was demolished by the present Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki in 2020 on the ground that it was built on land belonging to a primary school.
This however caused a large dispute between the governor and Tony as Tony believed that the Governor intentionally demolished his building because he refused to show support for his government.
It is also generally believed that Adams Oshiomhole was using Tony Kabaka to discredit Governors Obaseki administration.
In the recent report by BBC African Eye, Tony Kabaka stated that he has left politics since 2019 and has since then faced repeated assassination attempts.
In an interview with the journalist, Tony Stated that he mobilises cult groups to help win elections in Edo State. He also stated that he can identify members of the Black Axe confraternity in government.
In the same interview, he stated that most politicians are involved in cultism because they need them to be elected into political positions.
