Tommy Lee Jones is an American actor and filmmaker who began his career as a professional actor on Broadway in 2000’s A Patriot for Me (1969) before moving to Los Angeles, USA in the mid-1970s in hopes of more work. Since beginning his acting career, Tommy Lee Jones has worked in front of and behind the camera, on screen and in television roles.
As a youngster, Tommy Lee Jones worked hard to win scholarships for his education and was able to attend the prestigious Dallas Preparatory Boarding School for Boys. St Mark’s School of Texas . He also went to Harvard on a scholarship, graduating with honors in 1969 and receiving a BA in English Literature. His roommate was a future Vice President, Al Gore, with whom he remains friends.
He has charmed the entertainment industry withhis acting achievements, screenwriting skills and directing various projects. He is best known for portraying the characters in an indescribable, inscrutable and dead-on manner.
