Tom Coughlin was born on August 31, 1946, in Waterloo, New York. Tom had a passion for sports from a young age. During his high school years, he excelled in both football and basketball. In 1981, he went to Boston College as a coach for quarterbacks, working with famous quarterback Doug Flutie.
