He urged all political parties, candidates, and their supporters to respect the democratic process as the election approaches on September 21.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President expressed confidence in the voters’ ability to make informed decisions about their future leaders.

He further noted that “the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has committed to conducting a free and fair election and urges all stakeholders to work together to ensure a successful and peaceful process.”

Tinubu also commended the candidates for focusing their campaigns on the issues that matter to Edo residents, such as improving livelihoods, promoting economic growth, and contributing to national development.

The President urged the citizens to maintain peace throughout the election process and resolve any disputes through appropriate channels.
