On Friday President Bola Ahmed Tinubu met with traditional rulers and with representatives of traditional rulers from across every part of the country at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja.
Well, this is a continuum of the series of meetings the newly elected president has been having after he had met with representatives and members of the legislature both the lower and upper house also early on Friday morning. Likewise, since the president came to power he had also met with members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, an assembly of the 36 State Governors, at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday aside from meeting with the G5.
Also, among the officials and rulers present at the meeting are Vice President Kashim Shettima; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume; the State House Permanent Secretary, Tijjani Umar; Ooni of Ife, Emir of Kano, Obi of Onitsha, Tor Tiv, Etsu Nupe, Deji of Akure, Shehu of Borno, Elegushi of Ikate, Jaja of Opobo, Lamido of Adamawa, Emir of Zazzau, Gbong Gwom Jos, Attah Igala, Alake of Egbaland, Shehu of Borno and a representative of the Oba of Benin.
