The recent development was revealed in a new data by Cloudflare, a web security and performance company. Aside from beating Google as the most visited site in 2021, it also beat Facebook to be the most popular social media in 2021
Tik Tok which was previously ranked no 7 on the most visited website in 2020 become popular during the pandemic in the same year, thereby acquiring more users.
However, in 2021 the app got more clicks than Google; the most visited site in 2020, starting in February, March and June and stayed in the top spot from August.
Tik Tok not only topped Google but other American online companies that ranked above it last year, including Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft and Netflix.
