Transit in Ilorin easy, compared to other parts of the country especially places like Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Ogun where the traffic can frustrate every ounce of life you have in you.

Transit in Ilorin can also be frustrating too sometimes particularly for me that doesn’t like being disturbed when transiting from one location to another.

With just N50 you can literally go anywhere in Ilorin the only problem is that the cabs are terribly small and can only contain three people at the back and one person on the front seat excluding the driver.

I don’t like being disturbed when transiting so I scramble to get the front seat whenever I need to transit to work every morning.

Sitting at the front sit as its own share of the problems first of all Ilorin drivers are usually extremely angry for reasons I can’t identify despite my four years in the city.

They just do or say something stupid that automatically ruins your morning and your entire day.

Another issue with sitting at the front is that the drivers squeeze two people in a sit meant for one person, which means I have to share my seat with another person if I want to use the front seat.

Unfortunately for me I rarely get to share the seat with someone as slim or as young me, most times it’s usually an extremely fat market woman who is probably smelling of crayfish or locust bean.

So most times when transiting I am sitting uncomfortably with half of my butt or my head outside the window.

My experience with extremely Fat market women makes me scan for Cab that has a fine young lady sitting by the front any time I am about to leave for Work.

I sometimes think no fine/rich  Lady uses the Cab in Ilorin because I rarely find any of them (apart from the University – Tanke area.)

I think a lot of them don’t take Taxis because you can barely seat without your body touching the next person sitting next to you.

Less I forget most Cab in Ilorin has this particular nauseating smell that turns your entire system, so if you are not sitting by the window you may literally die before the Journey ends.

PS: Don’t take the article too seriously I am just stating the things I observed, Ilorin is one of the best cities I’ve ever lived.
