Theodore Bikel, actor of Broadway musicals, and regular supporting actor in film and television, has passed away in Los Angeles at the advanced age of 91. He brought the character of Tevye to life in “Fiddler on the Roof” more than 2,000 times.

Theodore Bikel was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1924.
