First football game

Theo Walcott made his first appearance for Southampton FC in a home game against Wolverhampton Wolves on 5 August 2005, coming on as a substitute in the 0–0 draw.

On 19 August 2006 he made his senior debut for Arsenal against Aston Villa in a Premier League match. He was sent into the second half and assisted Gilberto Silva in his goal.

He represented England national team for the first time in a friendly against Hungary in a 3-1 win on 30 May 2006. With that appearance he became the youngest-ever capper.

Theo’s personal trainer is Bradley Simmons, who played for QPR before knee injuries ended his football career at a very young age. Ahead of the 2016 season, Simmons developed a workout focused on glutes, core and upper body strength for the preseason.Due to Walcott’s training commitments at Arsenal, Simmons gets him to train with him once a week. These workouts often start with a five-minute jog or brisk walk to warm up, followed by some mobility exercises to prepare his muscles for an intense workout.The first exercise is the bodyweight plank, which is followed by weighted plank and core exercises using TRX cables. Next, he does different versions of push-ups like Diamond to work on his upper body strength. He also performs wide-grip pull-ups and weighted lunges.
